Anthony Cotte is a Boston based photographer and filmmaker originally from Connecticut, that is taking photos around both Boston and New York. He studied film and video at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and now works as a freelancer at John Hancock. I found Anthony on Instagram and couldn’t figure out what I loved so much about his photography at first glance. Then, I recently came across his short film titled No Direction but Yours, which put everything in perspective. Anthony’s photography mirrors his film making style in the fact that his photos look almost like a still from a silent film. There’s also a common theme of skateboarding scattered throughout his films because of his hobby. If you have about 10 minutes, we suggest that you watch his short film, and check out the rest of his photography on his Instagram.
