Anne Mondro is an artist out of Michigan, who is exploring the physical and emotional complexity of the human body with her art. She received a BFA in Detroit and her MFA at Kent State University, and is currently pursuing a career in art while teaching at University of Michigan. Her art is being shown at multiple galleries all over the world and rightfully so. She uses thin steel and copper wire to create these sculptures that are meant to investigate humanity. Along with being an artist, she has provided multiple art lectures and workshops including presentations at the Fashion Imaging Department at Ming Dao University in Taiwan. If you would like to see her work in person, she currently has some of her work displayed at Love Lace: International Lace Exhibition in Sydney, Australia. You can check out more of her work on her Website or Ceres Gallery if you don’t want to make the trip to Australia.
